I took a photo of a bird. And I was far away and only my trusty FUJINON XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS with me. So, when I cropped this birdie out of the image I didn’t have many pixels left. So, what did I do?

I tested Kodachrome 64 film simulation the famous film stock that was very popular in 20th-century photojournalism.

The roses are red! So, I finally got my Fujifilm camera the X-S10 with its infamous PSAM dial to be exact. I chose this model because it was the only one somewhat affordable with IBIS or in-body image stabilization.

I was looking again my archive photos and decided to try square or 1:1 crop on some of them, especially because I plant to publish more on Instagram anyway.

I really love black & white photography. It makes the image look timeless and the subject matter pops out more when colors are out of the picture.

Because it was a beautiful day I grabbed my trusty old Canon EOS 600D with its EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS kit lens and while out there I was fascinated shooting trees of all things.
