Kodachrome 64 film simulation

I tested Kodachrome 64 film simulation the famous film stock that was very popular in 20th-century photojournalism.

As a new Fujifilm X user, I find these film simulations fascinating. I just punched in my first custom one from Fuji X Weekly, which is a great resource for this stuff. We call them film simulation recipes. Fuji X-Trans sensor cameras come with a bunch of premade profiles based on Fujifilm’s own film stocks like Provia, Velvia, and Eterna. My Roses Are Red images where I used Classic Negative.

My subjects probably weren’t very good for this Kodachrome 64 film simulation recipe but I tried to take a variety of photos. I think some of them turned out very nicely and at least somewhat resemble that classic Kodachrome look. I absolutely will use this profile in the future but also will try some other ones.

All photos were shot with my Fujifilm X-S10 and Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18-55 mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS lens. Straight out of the camera or SOOC JPEGs, only crop and/or straightening are applied to them.
